glusterfs-server software package provides clustered file-system (server package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install glusterfs-server
glusterfs-server is installed in your system.
Make ensure the glusterfs-server package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep glusterfs-server *
You will get with glusterfs-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
